YOUTH MINISTRY

Our Youth group meets on Sundays from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Youth Ministry room at the St. Joseph Faith Formation Center.
Jackie and Jose Orozco, Susan and Nick Carano and Lou Ivan are part of the Youth Ministry volunteer team.
Youth Ministry focuses on three essential goals: (1) empowering young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today; (2) drawing young people to responsible participation in the life, Mission, and work of the faith community; and (3) fostering the personal and spiritual growth of each young person, as set forth by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Among other service activities during the 2011-12 academic year, our youth will be visiting Vasu Manor, and volunteering their time at the Good Shepherd Kitchen. We hope to join the Diocesan Missions Office next summer on a week-long mission trip to Louis, Kentucky as part of the Friends in Appalachia program.
A “Lock-In” is planned for February, and ethnic cooking classes and basketball later this fall.

YOUNG ADULT RETREAT, SATURDAY, MARCH 31
A day of reflection for those in their 20's & 30's sponsored by the Campbell Parishes, St. Charles Church and the Diocesan Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry.
